Madison Shaque Sims, 17, and Samuel Brown, 18, both Bryant High School students and prom dates, tragically lost their lives in a car accident involving a semi-truck on Skyland Boulevard East in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on April 15. Samuel Brown, 18, and Madison Shaque, 17, both students at Bryant High School, were involved in a tragic accident on the morning of April 15 at Skyland Boulevard East in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The accident occurred while they were returning from their high school prom. At around 1:50 am, a Tesla and a semi-truck collided with each other, resulting in the car getting pinned under the truck and trapping the occupants inside.
Unfortunately, Samuel and Madison lost their lives in the accident. The spokesperson, Lydia Avant, said, “On Monday, students will have access to counselors and social workers to help cope with this tragedy. We will continue to have counsellors available to help our students in the coming days. Teachers and staff will have access to our Employee Assistance Program. We send our deepest sympathies to the families involved and ask that their privacy is respected during this difficult time.”
