The Fallout is a drama film about the emotional trauma of a high school girl, Vada Cavell, following a school shooting. She is shown as a happy girl at first, who attends a high school and enjoys her school days with her best friend. Unfortunately, their happiness doesn’t last long as a tragic incident of gun-shooting happens in their school, killing many of her classmates, but she and some others survive by hiding in the bathroom. This incident traumatizes her and she starts to have nightmares after this. She doesn’t want to go to school after this, but because of her mother’s compulsion, she anyways goes to school. She is so depressed as she can’t even go to the bathroom where she was hiding while the shooting happened. Her whole life is now changed, and now she is totally in mental chaos. What Happened At The End Of The Fallout?

At the end of the film, Fallout, it is shown that Vada is putting herself together. She tries to make things right with everyone. She also has some heartfelt talks with her family, and she later goes to visit Mia. she seems happy at the end waiting outside the dance class for Mia, sharing each other some flirty texts. But everything changes as she sees a notification on her mobile. It was about another shooting incident in a school, killing 12 students. She starts to breathe rapidly due to anxiety. With this, the screen turns white, but we can hear the sounds of her panic attack. The ending depicted, no matter what we do, the gun shooting incidents are still happening in high schools, unless severe measures are taken to prevent them. The ending of the film has made us understand, how the gun shooting incident in schools traumatizes a student even if that person survives it. 

Who Died In The Fallout?

In the first school shooting scene of the film, The Fallout, many of Vada’s classmates died. Her friend Mia’s brother, Quinton also died in that incident. Because of this incident, Vada was also dying, not physically but mentally. At the end of the film, she receives a notification of another school shooting incident. In that incident, 12 students were killed.

In the film, The Fallout, the names of the shooters of the school shooting incident were never revealed. However, this movie will make us think about the school shooting incidents which happen in real life. Maybe the director had those shooters in mind and created the shooter character.
