Alone Contestant Dies – Alone is a surviving reality competition show where the contestants have to survive for a certain number of days in the most ungracious landscapes. And to add more challenges, they have to survive with more assets and limited food sources. Every survivalist is all alone and meets their food and shelter needs all by themselves. From building their own shelters to scavenging for food, they have to survive even with minimal amenities and options. Has Any Contestant On Alone Died?

No contestant on Alone has died till now. There has not been any death on the show so far. However, an uncertain incident happened with contestant Carleigh Fairchild who participated in the show’s third season. After surviving for 86 days at the foothills of the Andes Mountain range, the medical team found that Fairchild’s BMI (Body Mass Index) dropped below 17. As a result, she had to be evacuated. The health of the contestants gets affected due to living in harsh conditions, but the team of Alone always keeps tracking the health of all the participants. 

Alone Contestant Death

According to the Producer of the show, the medical team performs checkups on the contestants every week until they reach the competition’s advanced stages. The frequency of the checkups also keeps increasing. A contestant can also communicate if they feel any health issues.

Executive producer Shawn Witt has said that the safety and well-being of the contestants have been the topmost priority. There have been no deaths on the show till now, and the contestants have always been safe in the show.

Alone is an exhausting competition for the participants, which happens in the remotest corners, wrapped profound in the wild.  In Season 7, the contestants survived for tough 100 days to win the grand prize of $1 million. Season 8 has a new group of survivalists competing and fighting with each other to win the competition and the huge prize reward.
