Lee Johnson and Sinead Campbell have traveled to the next step with their handwork and passion to give the best food to their customers. They have worked together to bring in some amazing food that will make you drool. The duo has opened their first restaurant in London. It is a Filipino-based restaurant that serves delicacies from Filipino cuisines. It is said that the restaurant host a Filipino feast every Sunday with food being served on Banana leaves. This will give you an authentic Filipino dine-in experience.   The show has given them the limelight that is very much needed for a restaurant’s success.

Lee who was the founder of BBQ Dreams moved from the Philipines to the United States when he was eight years old. He met his partner Campbell and he met and decided to start BBQ Dreamz. It was a dream for them to start a restaurant of their own and that’s when the opportunity to star in the BBC show knocked on their doors. On the show, they were able to impress the investors by making a Lechon Kawali. The dish has pork, radish, celery, grilled duck hearts, cauliflower, and other toppings. It was a perfect mix of taste and health with the best sauces and toppings. The aroma and the taste were levitating. With this dish, they were able to win the hearts of the investors and offered to invest money in them. Bringing in the culture of the Philippines in London was very much appreciated by the locals. Lee said that “Filipino food is sort of difficult to nail down because it comes from a lot of different cultures.”Lee and Campbell are successfully running their new restaurant Bong Bong’s Manila Kanteen.

Million Pound Menu

This is a reality show that was aired by BBC and hosted by Fred Sirieix. The whole format of the show is where the contestants bring in their best food and convince the judges to invest in their restaurant. There are two series in which we will come across two contestants, But in the second season of the show, we saw three groups who competed against each other to get the backing of the investors. There were different levels to test their talent and the one who has successfully convinced the jury, will get an amount for their restaurant ideas. The show has given opportunities to people who have accomplished in this field.
