The Full Throttle Saloon gained widespread recognition when it was featured as a television series premiering on the truTV network in November 2009. The show offers viewers a glimpse into the daily operations of this renowned biker bar, and during the second season, Angie Carlson joined the cast.
Initially starting as a waitress, Angie eventually became one of the “Flaunt Girls” dancers and even earned her small stage, where visitors could capture photos next to her. This unique photo opportunity involved Angie climbing onto a table, bending over, and briefly placing her rear end on someone’s head or shoulder, allowing visitors to have a memorable keepsake of their time at the bar.

Micheal Ballard the owner of Full Throttle Saloon, faced a devastating setback when the bar was completely destroyed by a fire in September 2015. However, he and his wife Angie were resilient and quickly joined forces to open a new Full Throttle Saloon on the outskirts of Sturgis, South Dakota. They continue to operate the bar, with the addition of, a unique feature that includes a waist-high deck. The couple has created a fulfilling life for themselves in Sturgis, embracing their roles as parents and managing their various ventures.
Angel Ballard known for her role as Michael’s wife on the show, has moved on from the tragedy and is actively involved in operating the new Full Throttle Saloon. Additionally, she manages her pub and runs an online craft company called Blue House Quilt and Craft. She is also a dedicated mother, and Michael supports her in all her endeavors.
Micheal Garner, the talented chef known for his delicious fajitas, experienced heartbreak when the Full Throttle Saloon was destroyed by fire. He has since recovered and worked at several eateries, including Flager’s Tavern and Riptides Raw Bar and Grill. He remains deeply involved in the riding community and can be found at various rallies across the nation.
Eric Soluri, the former US Air Force member and Director of Operations and Security at Full Throttle Saloon, retired from the Air Force in 2015. He later became the national director of sales for Full Throttle Spirits and currently serves as the Vice President of Sales at Full Throttle Spirits. Eric resides in Syracuse, New York.
