How To Beat Hogwarts Legacy Cassandra Mason? How To Damage Cassandra Mason With White Shield?

Hogwarts Legacy

The plot of the game is a future action role-playing which was created by Avalanche Software and released by the famous Warner Bros. Games under the Portkey Games banner. Based on the famous books of Harry Potter stories, the game series Wizarding World serves as a new upcoming game worldwide. For the gaming devices such as PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch, the game series Hogwarts Legacy was released on 10 February 2024.

How To Beat Hogwarts Legacy Cassandra Mason?

It’s worth noting that you’ll have the opportunity to confront Cassandra Mason fairly early in the game, even though your spell selection will be limited. However, Cassandra herself isn’t particularly formidable, despite her penchant for the classic tactic favored by many mage bosses – levitating you and attacking until you’re helpless. Additionally, she’s fond of hurling rocks and pumpkins. Therefore, defeating her in Hogwarts Legacy doesn’t require a specific strategy, as simply imitating her moves will suffice. The encounter with Cassandra Mason should only last a few minutes and is considered an easy challenge when compared to other side bosses such as Theophilus Harlow. Nevertheless, the fight against Cassandra Mason involves two distinct phases.

In the first phase of the battle, Cassandra Mason employs a limited range of spells. The primary spell to avoid is her base spell, which can deal significant damage to your health. In addition, she enjoys hurling rocks and pumpkins at you, but you can either dodge them or utilize Ancient Magic Throw to throw them back at her. Occasionally, Cassandra will use Confringo, causing you to explode. In response, you should use Confringo and retaliate against her. It’s crucial to keep in mind that Cassandra is capable of teleporting throughout the arena, so when she vanishes, step back to keep an eye on her and avoid getting ambushed from behind.

How Do You Defeat Cassandra Mason?

To defeat Cassandra Mason in Hogwarts Legacy, there are a few things you should do first. Completing the previous objectives in the ‘Minding Your Own Business’ quest is necessary before challenging this boss. Additionally, knowing the spells Accio and Wingardium Leviosa is crucial because Cassandra will teleport frequently during the fight. Finally, it’s recommended to practice fighting trolls beforehand since she likes to use her magic to throw rocks.

Once you’re ready to take on Cassandra, the first thing to do is to use Accio or Wingardium Leviosa to trap her and prevent her from teleporting away. While she’s immobilized, you can attack her using Basic Casts to slowly reduce her health. It’s also essential to deflect the rocks she throws at you and use the Ancient Magic Throw to launch them back at her if possible.

Overall, defeating Cassandra Mason is challenging but doable if you follow these strategies and remain vigilant against her attacks. Good luck!

How To Damage Cassandra Mason With White Shield?

After completing one of the most enjoyable side quests in Hogwarts Legacy, players will need to confront Cassandra Mason and hold her accountable for her actions. This triggers a boss battle in close quarters where she will throw a variety of spells at you, but nothing too challenging. One thing to watch out for is her use of a clear white shield. During this phase, you can only use two types of attacks to destroy the shield. Either parry an attack and reflect it by holding the same button for the shield or use the appropriate skill if you have purchased it. Additionally, Cassandra will throw large rocks at you, which can be parried and thrown back at her using the R1/RB button, breaking the white shield and allowing you to attack her again.

Cassandra Mason Hogwarts Legacy Shop

To obtain your own shop in Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll need to complete Minding Your Own Business and defeat Cassandra Mason. However, it’s worth noting that not all players will be able to own a shop within the next year due to a limitation. Minding Your Own Business is an exclusive quest for PlayStation 4 and 5 players, with no workaround for other platforms. Starting February 10, 2024, however, PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch players will have access to this quest. While this may seem unfair, there are likely financial reasons for this PR decision. If you’re a PS player, you can open your shop right now. The Minding Your Own Business quest becomes available in the late game, but players typically encounter it after finishing the story. The recommended level to begin the quest is 28 or higher, as the foes you’ll face are quite powerful. Also, keep in mind that this quest takes place in the winter in Hogsmeade, so you should wait until the correct time of year and visit the beloved shopping village.
