Disney Dreamlight Valley is a game where you take care of a magical valley full of Disney and Pixar characters. These characters lost their memories because of a curse, and it’s up to you to help them rediscover their past lives in the valley. It was released in stages for different platforms like Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, Windows, and macOS.
Players got to access it early on some devices before its full release. Initially, the plan was for it to be a free game, but things changed as more people played during the early access phase. Because of its success during this period, the game became a premium title instead of being free-to-play. The game got fully released on December 5, 2024, along with its first big extra part called A Rift in Time.
Making Fish Pasta in Disney Dreamlight Valley is easy. For this, you’ll need four things: wheat, garlic, milk, and any type of fish you like. The first three are wheat, garlic, and milk, while the fish part is flexible. Just make sure it’s not a crab, lobster, clam, oyster, or scallop because those are considered seafood and won’t work for this recipe.
Getting these ingredients is pretty simple. You can catch fish from lots of places, except Dazzle Beach. Repairing Moana’s boat makes fishing even easier. Garlic grows naturally in the Forest of Valor, so you can pick it when you’re there.
Wheat can be grown or bought from Goofy’s Stall in the Peaceful Meadow. As for milk, you’ll find it at Remy’s restaurant once you’ve brought Remy to the village and fixed up his place. Once you have all four ingredients, making Fish Pasta is a breeze! Just follow the recipe, mix everything together, and voila! You’ll have yourself a delicious meal ready to enjoy in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Fish Pasta in Disney Dreamlight Valley has a couple of important uses! First off, it can be a favorite item for Disney characters or an order at Remy’s Restaurant. Imagine, it might just be the dish that Remy loves the most on any given day. But that’s not all. This pasta is a real energy booster. Eating Fish Pasta can give you back a minimum of 1,282 units of energy.
And here’s the cool part: the type of fish you use in the recipe can make a huge difference. For example, if you use a lancetfish, it restores a whopping 3,467 units of energy. But if you go for a swordfish, it gets even better, giving you 3,847 units of energy. So, if you’re low on energy in the game, making Fish Pasta with the right fish can really power you up.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you get to dive into a world where you take care of this magical place filled with Disney and Pixar characters. It’s like being in a big adventure where you control a character living in this special valley. You can explore, gather things, and even use magic to clear out these not-so-friendly plants called “Night Thorns”.
There’s cooking to do, crafting stations to make stuff, and tools that run on magic to help you out, like a pickaxe or a fishing rod. You can even decorate the place with furniture and design your clothes. As you play, you earn coins that let you buy cool things or upgrade the valley. You can befriend the characters living there by chatting, doing activities together, and giving them presents. The more friends you make, the more neat stuff and rewards you unlock!
The creation of Disney Dreamlight Valley was handled by a team at Gameloft Montreal. They’re a group of people who absolutely love Disney and Pixar, and they poured all their passion for these characters into the game. Manea Castet, the Game Manager, said that their team feels like a big family of Disney and Pixar fans. They were super excited to bring this magical world to life and were looking forward to having fans join them during the Early Access phase to help shape the game.
The game’s development journey started back in June 2022 when it was announced. It launched in early access on various gaming platforms like Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, Windows, and eventually macOS. The team worked hard to add more content and features, making the game better as time went on. They wanted to make sure it was full of adventures and stories that players would love.
Originally, the plan was for the game to be free-to-play after its early access phase. But things changed along the way. In October 2024, Gameloft decided to switch gears. Instead of being free, the game became a paid title upon its full release in December 2024. They also announced a cool new expansion called “A Rift in Time” that would come out alongside the full release, offering more excitement for players to enjoy in this ever-evolving Disney and Pixar-inspired universe.
