1) Bobby Gonzales

Bobby was 15, when he was accused of being arrested. He on the saying of his girlfriend, Krissy that she is being abused by her parents repeatedly and eventually bobby shot her mother. It was late found out to be untrue. Her father was brutally injured but managed to escape life. Later now, bobby and his girl friends father Vernon, is on good terms now as he had already forgiven Bobby for his crimes. Bobby is still impriosned in Alfred D. Hughes Unit in Texas and will become eligible for parole in 2027.

2) James Wiley

James Wiley’s case is nightmarish to know. He shot his own stepmother and two brothers, and when the third brother tried his best to escape, he was caught and was brought home by James Wiley and was shot too. This brutal act even melted the most hard heart police. After being convicted of three counts of first-degree murder and one count of second-degree murder, James was sentenced to life in prison. James Wiley is detained at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution in Torrington after his request to have his life sentence commuted was denied.

3) Curtis Brooks

Curtis Brooks had a very hard childhood. He was hanging out at the Aurora Mall in Colorado when Roosevelt “Deon” Harris approached him and invited him to join him in a carjacking. Curtis accepted without hesitation because Harris had previously allowed him to sleep in his home. Harris ended up killing the victim when the carjacking went horribly wrong. Curtis, on the other hand, was charged with first-degree murder. Despite the fact that Curtis was not accused of murdering the victim, the jury found him guilty and sentenced him to life in prison without the possibility of release in 1997. Brooks was resentenced after the Supreme Court struck down the life without parole sentence for juveniles, and then-Governor John Kichenlooper gave him clemency in December 2018. Curtis now lives in Largo, Maryland, with his wife Kaitlin Brooks, whom he married in August 2021. He is trying to grab all that he had missed in his life when he was in prison.

4) Lacy Aaron Schmidt

Lacy Aaron Schmidt was 14 years old when he murdered Alana Calahan, his ex-girlfriend, in Columbia County, Georgia. According to court papers, the couple’s relationship was failing, and Aaron had planned Alana’s murder in advance. The gun used, according to sources, was stolen from the victim’s father. Aaron approached the victim on January 31, 2011, and shot her from behind as she was on the phone. The adolescent even tried to bury the body in the woods. Aaron was convicted of felony murder while committing aggravated assault, theft by taking a weapon, possession of a firearm during the conduct of the crime, and malice murder after being apprehended.

5) Ronald Bell

After he and two other teens were found guilty of abducting, torturing, and murdering a man in Florida in 1999, Ronald Bell, then 17 years old, was sentenced to death. Ronald, on the other hand, was spared the death penalty after the death penalty for minors was declared illegal. After being convicted of first-degree murder and kidnapping, Ronald was sentenced to life in prison. He attempted and won a resentencing when the Supreme Court approved a law prohibiting juveniles from serving life without parole. The following trial, however, gave Ronald the same punishment and sent him back to prison. Ronald Bell is currently detained at Taylor County, Florida’s Taylor Correctional Institution.

6) Timothy Preston Chavers

Timothy Preston Chavers was only 17 years old when he and two friends attempted to rob another adolescent in the guise of purchasing drugs. The victim was brought to Florida’s Fort Walton Beach, where the gang tried to rob him. However, things got out of hand, and Preston shot the victim in the back of the head. He was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison after being apprehended.Preston was given a resentencing after appealing his conviction, but the court sentenced him to life in prison in August 2018. However, the judge stated that his punishment might be reviewed after 25 years. Preston is currently detained in Tallahassee, Florida’s Wakulla Correctional Institution.

7) Brandon Moore

Brandon Moore was only 16 years old when he and three other youths in Youngstown, Ohio, attempted to rob a 21-year-old college student. The incident progressed into assault and severe rape, despite the fact that they had intended to rob the victim. Brandon was convicted of multiple crimes after being apprehended, including kidnapping, rape, aggravated robbery, and accomplice rape. He was sentenced to a total of 141 years in jail after that. Brandon is now eligible for parole as a result of a law implemented on January 9, 2021, which made him eligible. He has not yet been released from the Marion Correctional Institution in Marion, Ohio, and remains detained.

8) Otis Daniels

Otis Daniels was 16 years old when he was arrested for murder and robbery in Georgia. According to sources, Otis committed a home invasion in which he broke into a residence and shot the lady of the house and her daughter. The probe became a homicide after the older woman died from her injuries, and Otis was arrested. Otis was found guilty on various offences in 1998 and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Otis sought for a resentencing when the Supreme Court repealed the life without parole term for juveniles, but was condemned to spend the rest of his life in jail. In Ware County, Georgia, he is currently jailed in the Ware State Prison.
