Layton Simon BMF: Is Layton Simon Still Alive?

Layton Simon BMF

Layton Simon goes on to discuss his children and his interests in a discussion with the Original Gangsters podcast. He enjoyed playing professional sports in Detroit and explained that in the 1970s, on his way to one of his games, he met a man named Dirty Diamond. The man was wearing a 20-carat ring, and when Layton inquired about it, the name Harold Stinson came up. Before the Flenory brothers, Big Meech and Southwest T, took over the streets, he met Stinson and discovered he was running a large drug-dealing ring. Harold’s illegal business enticed Layton, who began dealing when he was 14 years old. By the age of 15, he had saved enough money to purchase a new 1973 Cadillac.

Is Layton Simon Still Alive?

The majority of the characters in BMF are based on real people who were involved with the Flenory brothers. Many believe Lamar is based on Layton, not just because of their roughly comparable names and roles, but rather because of Lamar’s combat with a psychiatric condition. Layton was also carried out to a psychiatric ward in the 1980s, and Lamar’s character on the show basically reflects a very similar issue. Although the true status of Layton Simon is not known as of now. Many of the real-life BMF characters are still a mystery to the open world. Just like some Layton is also one of the unfamiliar characters.

Black Mafia Family

Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory founded the Black Mafia Family in Southwest Detroit in 1989. By 2000, they had founded cocaine distribution sales across the United States through their Los Angeles–based drug citation and direct links to Mexican drug cartels. The Black Mafia Family controlled from two main centres: one in Atlanta for delivery run by Demetrius Flenory and one in Los Angeles for received Mexican shipments run by Terry Flenory. After both of them were imprisoned,  Terry Flenory has been released to incarceration on May 5, 2020, following a sympathetic release due to health issues and a Federal Bureau of Prisons effort to release certain prison officers in order to limit the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic within federal prisons. Demetrius Flenory sought his release under the same rules. Still, even so, a federal judge denied the request, claiming it would be early to authorize his release because his prison record shows he has not changed and actively promotes himself as a drug kingpin. His disciplinary record includes violations such as possession of a cell phone and weapons and drug use.
