R’ Sholom Schnitzler passed away at the age of 65 while he was fundraising for Satmar Institutions in Australia. R’ Yitzchok Aizik Schnitzler passed away at the age of 63 in Monsey, and another brother, R’ Boruch Yehuda Schnitzler of Williamsburg, passed away in 5779 at the age of 62.

Michoel’s repertoire consisted of numerous Yiddish melodies, and he was known for his classic Chassidic style of singing. Over the course of his career, he released approximately 15 albums and over 150 songs, with his final release in 2000.
