On February 14, 2024, Casey Loza shared on her Instagram account that her daughter, Sadie Raine Loza, had passed away. Sadie was 15 years old, having celebrated her birthday on January 22, 2024. Casey announced that Sadie had left this world for the heavens, but her memory would always be cherished.
Casey shared that her daughter used to remind her of the first law of thermodynamics, which says that energy cannot be created or destroyed but can be transformed into another form. She found comfort in the fact that transformation is a better word than death. She believes that Sadie’s story will save countless lives.
Sadie’s aunt, Audrina Patridge, who is well-known for her appearance on the reality TV show The Hills, also expressed her grief on Instagram. She posted a tribute to her late niece, and her heart hurts even to write about it. She hopes that it’s not a permanent goodbye, but the thought of having to say goodbye for now is the hardest.
