The fourth and last season of Swamp Loggers concluded in 2012, but the popular cast has not been forgotten. Swamp Loggers followed a group of close-knit people, some of whom were related, as they shared their business with viewers all around the world, similar to other reality shows about unusual jobs, such as Texas Flip and Pawn Stars. And, given that Bo Malpass was one of the show’s main logging truck drivers, it’s difficult not to wonder what happened to him after the show ended.
While the show followed the crew’s logging jobs and many responsibilities relating to their common industry, there were episodes that emphasised the reality television component of it all. Meeting a weekly quote, which at times appeared to be a cakewalk and at other times appeared to be difficult for the men at work, was one of them. Or the several situations in which weather and road conditions were exaggerated in order to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. The cast, on the other hand, was in the centre of it all. Check out where the cast members of the Swamp Loggers series now.
Bobby Goodson is a reality television programme host and entrepreneur from the United States. Goodson’s All Terrain Logging, situated in Pender County, North Carolina, is currently his business. The reality series Swamp Loggers, which followed Mr. Goodson and his employees as they dealt with the day-to-day job of logging in North Carolina, was based on the company, which has seventeen employees. Every day, the staff of All Terrain faced a variety of problems, including terrible roads, bad weather, equipment issues, risks in saw mills, and unpredictable customers.
Justin Goodson is his father’s right-hand man, with five generations of logging blood coursing through his veins. Bobby Goodson’s eldest and only son, Justin, was born in 1980 in Jacksonville, North Carolina, to Bobby and Lori Goodson. Justin is capable of operating and repairing all of Bobby’s equipment. Justin claims that he would have gone into law enforcement if he wasn’t a logger. But logging is his forte, and he excels at it. With his wife, Bethany, Justin has two sons and a daughter. He hopes that the industry will continue to hold up so that his sons will be able to take over the family business one day. Justin Goodson is currently managing his father’s business.
Lori Goodson is the office manager and the wife of Bobby Gooodson. Lori, her husband, and their children Brittany and Justin are all devout Christians today. Justin is married to Bethany, while Brittany is married to an unidentified man. Goodson is extremely proud of her children and grandchildren, and she is concentrating her energy on maintaining her way of life and the family business.
Bobby’s childhood sweetheart and wife of over 25 years, Lori, is Dave’s sister. After high school and community college, Dave followed his father’s advice and moved to Johnson & Wales University in Jacksonville, where he studied culinary arts and food and beverage management. When Dave’s father was afflicted with cancer, he put his ambitions of becoming a chef on hold in order to care for him.
Bobby had a job lined up for him when he returned home. Dave has opted to stay in the Jacksonville region to be near his father now that he is cancer-free. Dave, who is married to Jennifer and has a gorgeous baby girl, wants to return to the kitchen one day. For the time being, he’ll settle for grilling steaks for Bobby’s team when they hit 100 loads in a week.
Bo’s emergency gallbladder surgery during the filming of Swamp Loggers may be the most memorable event for fans. Despite the fact that he was able to return to work immediately after his treatment, it was a major talking topic in the show at the time. Bo was able to return to work with the logging firm quickly after his recovery because it wasn’t a major condition that caused him any trouble. And it doesn’t appear to have had any long-term harmful consequences for his health.
Bo crashed another car in traffic while driving a tractor-trailer truck on an early September morning in 2017. A 30-year-old lady and her 8-year-old daughter were killed in the accident, and a year later, Bo spoke to the local news about how the tragedy had affected him. He stated at the time that he wasn’t ready to return to truck driving, thus it’s unknown whether he returned to work or retired permanently.
