In their statement, the funeral home expressed their condolences, stating that they are deeply saddened by the loss of Travis Kwamayne Ruffin, who was 33 years old and from Wilson, NC.

Reports indicate that he was driving under the influence of alcohol when he lost control of his car on Interstate 64 in Wilson, North Carolina. His mother, Michelle McCoy Jones, confirmed the tragic news in a heartfelt Facebook post where she expressed her disbelief and wished that it was all just a terrible dream.

Lord I know sometimes we take life for granted. Just when we don’t expect that this will happen to us all over again but my son is gone and I am broken. God tells me what to do to get it Right with you cause I’m losing my babies one by one. I’ve cried and prayed so much to you that I’m starting to wonder are hearing me. Lord, please continue to bless me and my family through all this pain!!! GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN”
