Two students from Texas A&M University tragically lost their lives in a car accident on Sunday. The incident occurred on Highway 6 in south Robertson County. The victims were identified as 22-year-old Maegan Sanders and 19-year-old Wesley Sanders, both students attending the Mays Business School. The collision occurred around 6 p.m. as the Sanders’ SUV was traveling south on the highway.

According to Sgt. Jimmy Morgan of the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Sanders’ vehicle was involved in a three-vehicle accident. Fortunately, the driver of the other vehicle, an Infiniti, escaped without any injuries. However, another driver involved in the crash was hospitalized in Temple.

This particular crash was one of two fatal car accidents that occurred on Highway 6 that evening. Both incidents are currently under investigation as authorities work to determine the causes and circumstances surrounding these tragic events. The Texas Department of Public Safety, along with other relevant authorities, is conducting thorough investigations to gather all necessary information.
