The hotel has featured in an American television reality series called Hotel Hell, where Gordon Ramsay was the host and stayed in the hotel to reverse the misfortunes of the hotel. Initially, it was aired on 13 August 2012, but in early 2012 it was shot.

When the hotel’s dining room was being renovated, Gordon named a bar in the second dining room Blue Bar since it was in good shape. They had a Sunday night service when they were ready to reopen. While things were going well, one of the staff asked the owners, Ari and Robert, to remove their dog, which they fought over. Gordon, on the other hand, had Robert apologize for yelling. However, hotel owners went into foreclosure with a debt of $1.1 million by April 2014 and had to close it down. While Ari was detained in July for attacking a cop.

Though it was Robert Dean 2 and Ari Nikki was the owner of the Juniper Hill Inn from 2012 to 2013, later it was closed because of foreclosure on the bank, which was due to a large debt by Robert and Ari. Subsequently, in 2014, the Juniper Hill Inn was sold in a foreclosure auction for $405,000 to the new owners. Then, they renamed it Windsor Mansion Inn. When business was going smoothly, the new owners changed the name and the prices for things in the hotel. Even the starting room rates for Windsor Mansion Inn start at $150 per night.

Juniper Hill Inn was the first hotel to be shot in season 1 of Hotel Hell, a reality television series created, hosted, and narrated by Gordon Ramsay. Juniper Hill Inn is located in Windsor, Vermont.
