Kevin Horn, the medical examiner, testified during the trial that Alexander had defensive wounds on his hands and that his jugular vein, common carotid artery, and trachea had been slashed. Horn further stated that Alexander may have been dead at the time the gunshot wound was inflicted and that the back wounds were shallow. After a thorough investigation, Alexander’s death was classified as a homicide. He was laid to rest at Riverside’s Olivewood Memorial Park cemetery, where his loved ones mourned his tragic and violent death.
