Daniil Miromanov started his hockey career in Canada, initially playing junior hockey as a forward with Acadie–Bathurst Titan and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). Miromanov transitioned to playing defense under the guidance of Igor Larionov and made his professional debut with HC Sochi in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) during the 2017–18 season.

After the KHL, Miromanov returned to complete his major junior career in the QMJHL with the Moncton Wildcats. He then went on to play professionally with Czech club HC Dynamo Pardubice in the Czech Extraliga (ELH) and the Manchester Monarchs in the ECHL. Miromanov eventually returned to Russia and resumed his KHL career with HC Sochi during the 2019–20 season. 

After his successful season in the KHL, Miromanov was signed as an undrafted free agent to a one-year contract with the Vegas Golden Knights in 2021. He joined the Golden Knights, the Henderson Silver Knights, for the remainder of the season and showcased his skills, registering two assists in the playoffs.

Miromanov’s performance during training caught the attention of the Golden Knights, and with the Henderson Silver Knights, he began the 2021–22 season.  However, he was soon recalled to the NHL due to injury concerns on the Golden Knights’ roster. In 2021, Daniil Miromanov made his NHL debut with the Vegas Golden Knights, playing in a game against the New York Islanders.

He recorded his first career point in his second NHL game and assisted a victory over the Colorado Avalanche. Now, Miromanov’s journey took another turn in 2024 when he was traded to the Calgary Flames and signed a contract extension as part of a deal that sent Noah Hanifin to the Vegas Golden Knights.
