The Blacklist Plot

“The Blacklist” tells the story of Raymond Reddington, a former Navy officer who turns himself in to the FBI after disappearing for twenty years. He offers to help the FBI catch dangerous criminals and terrorists he knows about, but only if he can work with rookie agent Elizabeth Keen.

In each episode, Reddington and the FBI chase after a different criminal from Reddington’s “blacklist” of dangerous people. Most of the action happens in Washington D.C., but sometimes they go to other places around the world.

The original storyline, covering seasons 1 to 8, focuses on the mysteries surrounding Reddington’s past and his relationship with Keen. As the series progresses, Reddington becomes more protective of Keen, but tragedy strikes in season 8 when Keen is killed.

In seasons 9 and 10, after Keen’s death, the FBI task force falls apart, and Reddington flees. However, he returns when new threats arise, and he and the FBI team up again to stop criminals.
