Namaz is also referred to as Salah which means the act of worshipping in Islam, it is mandatory for all Muslims to offer salah five times a day at the right time as it is one of the five pillars of Islam. They have to offer the namaz by facing the Qibla, the direction towards the Kaaba, each Namaz is performed in different Rakats and people should be aware of the Rakats of each salah and perform the Salah without any mistakes, A Rakat can be defined as the sequence of movements in a salah, the Rakats for each salah differs and it also varies for Sunnah and Fard namaz.
Zuhr Namaz is performed in 12 Rakats including the Fard, Sunnah, and Nafil Salah. The Fard is the Obligatory namaz which one cannot be able to avoid for any reason, the Sunnah is the optional salah but it is largely advised to perform to gain more good rewards and Nafil is also the optional namaz. The Zuhar Namaz is also mentioned as Johorer but the pronunciation is the same even when spellings are different, Each namaz is performed in different timing the Fajr Namaz will be performed before dawn, and the Zuhr namaz will be performed in the afternoon after the sun passes the median point, Asr namaz is performed in the evening and it should be performed before dusk, the Maghrib namaz is performed after the sunset and the Isha namaz is performed at night.
